At the April 10 meeting utility staff reported on routine operations and maintenance. Notable items in the minutes included that the KCC audit found no noncompliances, staff completed the yearly water tower inspection (Cunningham sand blasting), started seasonal mowing, addressed storm-related power outages and tree removal, replaced a street light at the softball field, and ordered a box grader for the skid steer.
Other operational tasks recorded included sewer sampling and testing at Meridian in Mound Valley, pool supply ordering, reading and repairing meters, replacing a plug and breaker at a campsite, and continuing cleanup and repairs at ball fields and campgrounds. The minutes list a variety of maintenance tasks but do not assign specific completion dates for each item.
