The Altamont City Council voted to approve the KMEA Electric Capital Outlay Plan for year one after receiving the Electric and Electric Reserve Fund Status reports. Councilmember Lyle Sykes moved to approve the plan and Councilmember Zachary Sellers seconded; the motion carried.
City staff said they worked with Tyson McGreer from KMEA and the utility department to adjust the plan. The capital and reserve fund reports were presented to give council context for short- and medium-term electric equipment and project needs.
