Multiple board members highlighted environmental risks, noting the lot’s porous soils and proximity to a creek and an existing brownfield. The board said it would relay those concerns to the applicant and indicated the matter would move to a public hearing so neighbors could be notified and provide input.
There was no applicant representative present to answer detailed operational or mitigation questions at the meeting. Staff confirmed the application will be scheduled for a public hearing and that the town will issue required notices to adjacent property owners.
