The Westmoreland County Industrial Development Corporation approved an agreement with TBI Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $1,762,906 to perform the Suite 100B Shell Renovation at Jeannette Industrial Park in the City of Jeannette. The approval occurred at the IDC meeting held May 14, 2026, and was adopted by unanimous vote after a motion by Commissioner Ted Kopas and a second by Commissioner Douglas W. Chew.
The project is funded and supported in part by a $750,000 grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission. The minutes list TBI Contracting as the lowest responsible bidder. Other bids received for the project included Graham Construction ($1,880,264), MASCO Construction, Inc. ($2,107,000), Franjo Construction ($2,171,000), MASSCON, Inc. ($2,174,000), ABS Building Systems Integrators, LLC ($2,203,207), ArTech Group, LLC ($2,315,036), Stone Mile Group, LLC ($2,396,700), and Raimondo Construction ($2,504,319).
The contract award authorizes the Executive Director and staff to complete any administrative steps necessary to finalize the agreement. The board adjourned at 10:14 a.m.
