Clackamas teams offer free woody-debris collection, chipper days and tree work for Estacada

Reed said some mitigation work is grant-funded and that crews sometimes do work for socially vulnerable households at no cost, provided homeowners commit to creating defensible space. Committee members asked how costs and administration work; presenters said Clackamas Fire or other partners may act as grant administrators while grant funds pay partner organizations to do the work.
No formal contract or city funding decision was made; staff offered follow-up about logistics and potential pilot events if the committee supports outreach to residents.
