The Board of Aldermen on April 15 adopted three resolutions updating city policies. Department counsel introduced resolution 2026-5 to formalize financial policies for fiscal planning and grant compliance; the council approved the resolution by voice vote and the mayor will sign it.
Council then adopted resolution 2026-6, which revises the city's utility collection and disconnection policy to add water and sewer to existing power procedures. Clerk Catterall recommended the procurement resolution 2026-7 reference the State of Idaho procurement statute and adopt the Association of Idaho Cities procurement manual "as updated"; council approved the procurement resolution with that amendment. All three measures passed by voice votes and were signed or to be signed by the mayor.
