Laura England Biggs, director of Keene Memorial Library, presented the library's 2024–25 annual report and corrected a typographical error in the staff report about program-year labeling. She said programming attendance rose to 21,784 in 2025 across 574 programs and that circulation exceeded 200,000 items checked out last year.
"We added over 1000 new borrowers," Biggs said, and noted meeting-room use increased to about 1,200 meetings. Council members praised the library's use of a $2 million bond and other funding to complete the expansion and called the program and circulation metrics "astounding." The council moved to receive the report with thanks to the library staff.
