Adam told the board staff are addressing a dilapidated structure that the county regards as a public-safety issue. He said an entity that supplied lumber to the project filed a foreclosure action to have the property sold and that the case is currently in court.
To address the safety concern, Adam said the county will send building-code inspectors to the property and coordinate with the attorney handling the litigation to determine options to bring the property up to safety standards. He did not give a property address or a timetable for remediation.
