TWC approves multiple local workforce board nominees across Texas regions

Cara Levy of the Workforce Development Division presented local workforce board nominations for several workforce solutions boards across the state and asked the Commission to approve the nominees as presented: Workforce Solutions Brazos Valley; Cameron County; North Central Texas; Middle Rio Grande; Northeast Texas; Central Texas; Permian Basin; and Southeast Texas. "Staff present these nominations for your consideration and I'm happy to answer any questions you have," Levy said.
A commissioner moved to approve the nominees, the motion was seconded and commissioners voted yes. The nominations will be processed by staff according to local board appointment procedures.
