Board approves personnel recommendations after executive session
Summary
After executive session, the Laurel School District board approved multiple personnel reports (Attachments A–E) covering professional staff, cafeteria staff, coaches, support staff and administrators; one coaches item was tabled.
Following an executive session portion of the meeting the board moved to approve personnel reports as listed in Attachments A through E.
The board approved professional-staff recommendations (Attachment A), cafeteria staffing (Attachment B), support-staff recommendations (Attachment D) and administrative recommendations (Attachment E) by roll-call votes. Personnel Attachment C (coaches) included an item that the board tabled (item number three), and the remainder of that attachment was approved.
Approvals were recorded on the roll call with the board members present voting in favor; the meeting record noted the approvals were “as discussed in executive session” and referenced the attachments for specific personnel actions. The board did not discuss individual personnel details in open session.
