Hochatown administrator reports emergency road repairs and safety work on Camp Ranch

Adam described emergency repairs at Camp Ranch after a public-safety problem: "We replaced six of them," he said, referring to deteriorated 10-horn culvert sections that had become potholes and were causing drivers to hit tires. He said crews also saw-cut and rebuilt the asphalt entry apron to Camp Ranch Road off 259 to smooth access.
Adam said the town applied dust-control resin on Pinion after multiple visibility complaints at a narrow concrete-box bridge and is seeking contractor quotes to add guardrails, signage and reflectors. "I'm working on quotes right now with some local contractors to come out and install guardrails and some appropriate signage and some reflectors so that people will see it," he said.
The administrator said engineers are preparing cost estimates for a set of candidate roads (Old Ho Chateau Road, Mako Road, Greenling, Lucian, Sorrel and Camp Ranch) so the town can plan paving projects if grants or local funds become available. He also flagged an urgent collapse risk in the Timber Ridge subdivision where a washed-out culvert is allowing water to flow beneath the road and risks imminent failure.
The report contained no formal motions or votes; the town is preparing cost estimates and pursuing both short-term repairs and longer-term paving plans.
