Town to mail PFAS notice with August water bills and continues twice-yearly testing

Board members emphasized that resident compliance with the outdoor irrigation ban could reduce demand on wells with higher PFAS detections and allow the town to take affected wells offline when feasible. The manager said staff would forward the notice to town counsel for a quick review to limit unintended liabilities from voluntary outreach.
