Melissa, the foundation CFO, delivered the third-quarter-to-date financial report for Alabama Public Television and WLRH radio, highlighting membership growth and investment gains. "We are at 95% of our annual budget for FY26," Melissa told the board, and she reported APT membership of 26,896 and passport members numbering about 20,897.
She also briefed the board on underwriting, planned giving, and endowment and rainy-day fund balances: an endowment of roughly $5.9 million with quarterly growth around $412,000 and a rainy-day fund at approximately $4.6 million. Melissa noted WLRH underwriting lagged but that the station is pursuing sponsorships for its 50th anniversary and other new revenue strategies.
