Council authorizes mayor to sign artist contracts for Fremont sculpture walk

Council members expressed enthusiasm for the public art project and asked procedural questions about contracts and potential swaps if an artwork is sold before installation. A motion to authorize the mayor to sign artist contracts (Resolution 2026‑014) passed 7–0.
