Parks and Recreation advisory committee approves minutes, welcomes new member David Holden

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee met on July 20, 2026, approved the minutes from its previous meeting and introduced a newly appointed member. The motion to approve the minutes was recorded as moved by Mr. Chuck and seconded by Miss Mary and passed with affirmative responses from the members present.
Chair introduced the new member: "His name is Mr. David Holden," and Holden said he was pleased to join the board, noting, "I grew up in Leverne... I'm a local beekeeper." Members welcomed Holden and the chair thanked him for volunteering. The committee confirmed its next meeting for Sept. 21; the chair said Mr. Oliver will preside if the chair is absent.
