The board approved a zoning application to allow a towing service, vehicle storage and an impound yard at 1570 Pinnaman Road (resolution R26-112). Planning staff described the site context as predominantly industrial/warehouse and recommended approval with conditions intended to control hours, signage and vehicle-storage limits.
Applicant Aaron of Stanley Park Auto and Mike’s Towing said he has been in the towing and auto business for about 30 years and will seek towing-board approval and comply with sheriff’s regulations. “I’ve been in this business for about 30 years,” Aaron told the board, adding that the storage area will be fenced, limited in scope and intended for short-term vehicle impound and customer pickup. The board approved the resolution by recorded vote and required the operation to follow towing-advisory-board and county conditions on storage time and inoperable vehicles.
