The committee agreed signage is one of its top priorities for the year and asked volunteers to compile photos and suggested designs for a grant request to the Department of Public Works. Members also discussed adapting signage to Eastham's different separation streams (clear vs. colored glass) so the town can change vendors without re-teaching residents.
Committee members noted space constraints at Eastham's transfer station compared with the larger facilities they visited and discussed options such as weather-resistant displays and student design partnerships. The group agreed to gather photos and ideas and to ask Kim Harris (town staff) for budget and grant guidance before pursuing new signs.
