Board approves RFP for Crest View serving line replacement, funded from food services

The MSD Lawrence Township Board approved a request to advertise a request for proposals (RFP) to replace the serving-line equipment in the food service area at Crest View Elementary School.
Mr. Matt Miles said the serving-line equipment is original to the school (dating to 1961) and that the equipment purchase will be funded from the district’s food services fund, which has the cash balance to support the purchase. He added that infrastructure work required for installation will be paid from operations or prior debt issuances. The motion to approve the RFP was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote with no recorded opposition.
