At the regular meeting, Mr. Matt Miles reported the district’s monthly financials and the twice-yearly fund transfers required by statute.
Miles said transfers recorded on June 30 included $11,882,498 from the education fund to operations and $3,141,891 from operations to education, resulting in a net transfer just above 12%, which he noted is within the 15% statutory cap. He also reported the general fund ending balance was "a little over $12 million" and that the transportation fund received just over $8 million in revenue; both metrics were described as tracking close to projections.
Board members asked clarifying questions and thanked staff for financial stewardship; no formal action beyond acceptance of reports was recorded.
