Council approves quitclaim deeds to resolve Woodland Shores parcel issue
Summary
After Wright County issued an administrative order to combine sliver-platted parcels with metes-and-bounds parcels for planning purposes, the council approved Resolution 2026-25 conveying Outlot A to Gary Halderson and Outlot C to Gary and Brenda Bury.
City Attorney Rhonda Pagel updated the council that Wright County could not administratively combine certain platted sliver parcels with metes-and-bounds parcels, so the county issued an administrative order treating them as combined for planning and zoning purposes. Pagel said affected owners Gary Halderson and Gary and Brenda Bury were directed to visit Wright County Planning & Zoning to sign the administrative order.
Pagel presented prepared Quit Claim Deeds conveying Outlot A to Gary Halderson and Outlot C to Gary and Brenda Bury and asked the council to adopt Resolution 2026-25. The council approved the resolution by roll call, 5-0 (m/s/p Duske/Jacobson), formally authorizing the conveyances and moving the item toward final recording and parcel transfer.
