Commission approves multiple budget amendments including Drug Control and school summer learning grants
Summary
Robertson County approved the Drug Control Fund FY27 budget, a Sheriff's Department housekeeping amendment, school summer-learning grant reallocations, and a Rescue Squad grant acceptance; all measures passed unanimously of those present (19–0, five absent).
At its June 15 meeting the commission approved several budget items across funds. Resolution No. 061526052 adopted the Drug Control Fund budget for FY 2026–27 with estimated June 30, 2026 fund balance of $170,000 and total revenues of $74,000. Resolution No. 061526053 made year-end housekeeping adjustments to Sheriff's Department lines. Resolution No. 061526055 amended the School Fund to record $17,400 in program revenues and to reallocate multiple instructional, transportation and plant-operation line items for a summer learning grant. Resolution No. 061526061 accepted a $16,150 Rescue Squad grant and amended the General Fund accordingly.
Each motion was made by Commissioner Couts (or moved by committee recommendation) with seconds as noted in the record; each passed 19–0 with five commissioners absent. The items were described in staff packets on file in the county clerk’s office.
