Resident praises Riverfront Park work, offers tree donation and event partnerships

Eric Barnhart, who introduced himself as "Eb" and said he lives on River Falls, used public comment to praise firefighter trainers and public works staff for recent improvements at Riverfront Park and to offer volunteer support. "I cannot believe the amount of work that the firefighter trainers have done... It's phenomenal," Barnhart said, adding that his family would be willing to contribute to replace a damaged tree.
Barnhart also described his background organizing live events and told the council he knows nonprofit organizations that fund municipal music festivals. He asked staff to connect him with the appropriate committee to explore grant-funded events and park programming. Council members thanked Barnhart for the compliments to staff.
