Worlage then summarized rebuild metrics: she said about 58% of affected properties now have active rebuild permits, with 1,872 homes under construction and 121 fully completed. She stressed a much larger funding challenge for shared infrastructure: "Our total estimated infrastructure needs stand at $2 billion," she said, and noted that Altadena has received no federal recovery funds.
The committee emphasized the need for coordinated local‑state advocacy to access larger grants and for the council to remain engaged in utility coordination and county recovery planning.
