Staff (the newly onboarded planner) agreed to provide written summaries, spreadsheets of amendments, and occasional workshops so the council does not encounter major zoning proposals as surprises.
The discussion produced a concrete next step: staff (Speaker 4) will prepare a short briefing for the council that summarizes outstanding technical edits, proposed growth-area changes, and a recommended sequencing for adoption. Participants asked for periodic written updates when in-person appearances at council meetings are not feasible.
