Council adopts administrative ordinance-number corrections to fix duplicate 2026 numbers

Staff told the council that two ordinances from 2026 were double-numbered because of an administrative numbering error and recommended an administrative correction to align records. "The correction ordinance designates the garbage can ordinance as 2026-01A and the subdivision escrow ordinance as 2026-03A while confirming that the boundary line adjustment remains 2026-01 and the UTA interlocal remains 2026-03," the chair read to the council.
Rod moved to adopt the ordinance-number change and the chair seconded. The council approved the administrative correction by voice vote with no opposition. Staff said the ordinances themselves remain approved; this action simply corrects the numbering in the official record.
