Staff investigated one-time debris and pH spike; no continuing source found

In late May staff observed construction debris and a slight pH spike captured on the bar screen. Staff searched for permits and monitored the system; no additional debris or continued pH excursions were found and the event appears to have been isolated.
Staff recounted a late-May incident in which jute or sheetrock-like construction debris was caught in the plant's bar screen and a slight pH increase was recorded. The authority investigated by checking for local permits and inspecting upstream work; staff said they found nothing obvious and the debris has not reappeared.
"We saw some construction debris, specifically, like, jute sheet rock type of material that was being, caught up in our bar screen," the Clean Water Ops representative said, adding that staff increased monitoring and were prepared to divert flow to the second SBR if needed. A member asked whether permits had been pulled; staff said none were obvious and they would continue surveillance.
