Board approves interim assistant principal Denise Lowsley and several resolutions
Summary
The board approved superintendent recommendations including personnel resolutions; the motion to approve certified and non-certified resolutions carried on roll calls and the board approved the appointment of interim assistant principal Denise Lowsley. A retirement resolution for Linda McDermott was also approved.
Under new business the superintendent presented certified and non-certified personnel resolutions and other recommendations. The board moved and seconded the motions and conducted roll-call votes to approve the certified resolutions (C15–C26) and non-certified resolutions (NC 6–NC 15).
During roll call the board approved the appointment of Denise Lowsley as interim assistant principal; the appointee was invited to the podium and acknowledged the board's action. The board also read and approved Resolution NC-6 accepting the retirement of Linda McDermott effective Oct. 6, 2026 and extended thanks for her service.
Motions, seconds and roll calls occurred on the record; where names were read during roll call attendees responded 'Yes' to approve. The board then proceeded with additional general resolutions and operational announcements before adjourning.
