The proclamation was dated "Signed this day, 07/21/2026," and recognized the center as an investment in county employees and families.
Guy said the county will continue to consider operational policies to serve shift workers and other employees who work nonstandard hours. "As this program grows, we hope to offer extended hours that better support our law enforcement officers, emergency responders, and other employees who work around the clock," Guy said. He also thanked staff, project planners and the YMCA for their partnership.
