Staff said the system will require applicants to upload required documents, allow staff to review applications online and is expected to reduce back-and-forth paperwork. The target launch window discussed at the meeting was late August to Labor Day.
Commissioners and staff said they will hold workshops and walk-through sessions for property managers and operators to encourage broad adoption, and noted that the software will integrate inspection scheduling and support enforcement tracking for code complaints. No fee schedule was finalized at the meeting; staff indicated that implementation details and outreach plans will be shared as the project proceeds.
