Council members asked questions about grant accounting and the mayor explained that CDBG grants are reimbursement-based while recycling grants are sent to the township and held in a separate account. The clerk and finance staff confirmed that each grant is maintained in its own budget line and that unspent grant funds may need to be returned depending on grant terms.
