The Fairway Planning Commission on Sept. 30 amended and approved the Aug. 26 minutes and approved four separate site-plan items: a side-yard generator exception at 5743 Windsor Drive; a window-hierarchy exception and approval for a house at 6015 Fontana Drive; a recommended sign deviation for a parcel on SH Parkway (to go to City Council, with a suggested one-year limit); and a green-space exception for 5901 How Drive to allow a pool and larger patio. The commission also noted applications coming in for a pump station on Belinder and two new houses and scheduled its next meeting for Oct. 28, 2024.
The meeting followed standard procedures: staff presented reports and recommendations (staff repeatedly stated it was "not opposed" to the applications), applicants answered clarifying questions, commissioners discussed code implications and policy follow-ups (notably green-space maintenance), and motions to approve each application carried. The transcript records motions and that they passed but does not provide full roll-call vote tallies or named movers for each motion.
