The Irvington Planning Board approved site development plan changes at 38 Butterwood Lane East for a deck replacement, a 10-by-7-foot deck expansion, a new staircase and a 16-by-14-foot stone patio. Project architect Sam Viera told the board the improvements comply with zoning and require no variances; the board read and approved the resolution subject to addressing a few minor engineering items.
Viera told the board the increase in coverage was 120 square feet, bringing the total coverage to 3,229 square feet for the property, and an impervious-surface increase of 59 square feet. He said that because the impervious increase is under the local 250-square-foot threshold, no stormwater mitigation was required under village rules. Clerk Mary Ann Sessitch read the resolution and the board approved it by voice vote, with a condition to comply with the items listed in Han Engineering’s July 6 memorandum.
