Board approves $5,000 PPE donation and $7,500 sports medicine contribution

"Continued support from Cosine Construction: $5,000 for PPE, aprons, goggles and gloves," the superintendent said, and also noted a $7,500 contribution from the Randall Family Fund through the Knox County Foundation toward the sports medicine program. Board members moved, seconded and approved the accommodations by voice vote.
The items approved include many small supports tied to student activities and school events (prom favors, registration bags, student-council lunch supplies) in addition to the PPE and sports medicine funding. The approval means those funds and donated items will be recorded and used in the upcoming school year.
