Board of Equalization reduces valuations for multiple appeals

• Marla M. Stephen (Parcel #7763): Motion to set the valuation at $310,000 using the November 2023 purchase price of $315,000 (motion by Laura Petersen, seconded by Alex Hamilton; all ayes).
• Rickee & Sandra Teigen (Parcel #5836 and #5639): Motion to set Parcel #5836 at $150,380 using the 2024 valuation plus 3% (motion by Stacey Boes, seconded by Kristi Drey; all ayes). A separate motion maintained Parcel #5639 at $52,461 (motion by Laura Petersen, seconded by Alex Hamilton; all ayes). The minutes note parcel #5639 is a 36‑year‑old mobile home on a single lot.
• Mike & Laura McKeen (Parcel #6269): Motion to reduce the building value to reflect an uninhabitable home under renovation and set the valuation at $74,606 (motion by Laura Petersen, seconded by Maurice Schlaht; all ayes).
The Board exited at 7:00 p.m. and the minutes record each motion as carried. The actions change the taxable valuations recorded for 2025 for the listed parcels.
