Jensen Design says its projects added $4.5M in valuation; council approves purchase of Lot 7 in Grandview

Jeremy Jensen of Jensen Design reported to the Gregory City Council that the firm has completed nine homes and two work-housing opportunities to date, and said those projects increased the city's taxable valuation by about $4.5 million and boosted annual tax collections by approximately $40,000. The report was given during the Feb. 18, 2025 regular meeting; the council thanked Jensen for his investments in the community.
The council also reviewed and approved a purchase agreement for Lot 7, Block 8, Grandview, with terms prepared by City Attorney Rachelle Norberg. Laura Petersen moved to approve the purchase and Cory Graber seconded; the motion carried with three ayes and one abstention from Alex Hamilton. No purchase price was stated in the minutes.
