Engineer: sanitary sewer final inspection produced five-item punch list before payment

The city engineer told commissioners that the final walk-through for the sanitary sewer project took place July 9 and produced a punch list of five items that are outside specification and must be fixed before the city makes final payments to the contractor. “There’s 5 corrections on the list that have to get fixed,” the engineer said.
He said City Hall has a copy of the punch list and invited residents with concerns to contact the city so staff can determine whether additional fixes are needed. No approvals related to the sewer project were requested at this meeting.
