Engineer says final geotechnical report on Expedition Estates due before next meeting

The city engineer said the bulk of geotechnical work for the Expedition Estates project is finished and preliminary lab results have arrived, with “a few more tests to run.” The engineer told commissioners, “I would hope to have our engineers report to you by the meeting in 2 weeks then.”
The engineer described the main focus as evaluating the 27 feet of pipe and the backfill above it to determine expected settlement and said no formal approvals were requested at this meeting. Commissioners agreed to revisit the issue once the final report and recommendations are available at the next meeting.
