Trustee Adam Wright asked fellow committee members to review the village employee handbook and pass suggested changes back to staff so updates can be prepared for committee consideration.
"Well, everybody has the employee handbook in front of them," Trustee Adam Wright said, asking members to relay requests. A staff member offered to assemble revised versions of any sections trustees want changed: "Or if they'd like to see versions of anything changed, then we can have that ready for you and go with updates that way," the staff member said. The committee did not take a formal vote on handbook changes during the meeting and did not specify deadlines for returned feedback.
The exchange indicates staff will prepare draft revisions if trustees identify sections to modify; the committee signaled interest in updating the handbook but left specific edits and timing to further coordination between trustees and staff.
