Township to consider amending Zoning Hearing Board fees; vacancies to be filled

Jason M. Bobst told the Board staff will present Resolution #26-1750 at the next meeting to amend Zoning Hearing Board fees after reviewing comparable municipalities; he said the township is losing money on stenographer and advertising costs and proposed changes to the fee structure.
The Board also noted the resignation of Tom Rizzo from the Zoning Hearing Board and said it will consider appointments to fill vacancies at the next meeting. Mr. Bobst said, in response to an inquiry from Mr. Smock, that no one has ever declined to proceed with a zoning hearing because of fees.
