Erie Township Supervisor Mike Grodi addressed the council earlier, encouraging Luna Pier to share the cost of the SEMCOG award and describing the grant as a feasibility and cost analysis for a bike trail. Council members said the study could support future funding applications for regional trails. The motion included the condition that Erie Township approve an identical proposed motion for the local match.
