Gwendolyn Drier of the Kewaskum Women’s Club presented the village’s 2026 beautification awards at the July 20 meeting, describing categories and announcing winners.
"I've been doing this. This is my 30th year doing the awards," Drier said, and identified judges and winners including Alan and Barb Heber (1830 Conrad Street) for creative use of landscape materials; a native-plant yard winner (name withheld by presenter) at 518 Keller Street; Jennifer Marks (785 Chief Kewaskum Place) for floral and design; and Michael and Marilyn Wade (310 Dreamcatcher Drive) for lawn ornaments and decor. The board thanked the club for its volunteer work and congratulated the recipients.
Drier noted that some winners were unavailable to accept awards in person and that the village will collect signs at the end of September/early October.
