The Ainsworth City Council voted unanimously to approve a special designated liquor license for the Ainsworth Golf Course and the Ainsworth Booster Club fundraiser to take place at the Ainsworth Conference Center on Aug. 14, with service from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m.
"I'll make a motion to approve the designated liquor license application for the Ainsworth Golf Course, for the Ainsworth Booster Club fundraiser at the Ainsworth Conference Center on 08/14/2026 from 5PM to 12AM," councilmember Brad said when offering the motion. The motion was seconded and carried without opposition. The council described the event as a repeat of a previously hosted fundraiser and offered no substantive objections during the discussion.
The council took the vote as part of its regular agenda after approving the consent agenda. There was no public testimony objecting to the license and no conditions attached in the council discussion. The city clerk will include the approval in the closing documents for the event as standard practice.
