Board approves variance to let Elizaville Christian Church build pavilion without primary structure

Rex Princesell, a member of Elizaville Christian Church, told the board the church uses the site for funerals and occasional gatherings and plans some mission training and outdoor classrooms. "It's everything, and we've met with someone from the highway department," Princesell said, adding the group plans temporary stone for construction access and will rely on indoor restrooms at the church. Mallory Kerr moved to approve the petition as read; the motion was seconded and carried on a voice vote. Approval is conditioned on addressing the TAC comments and obtaining required permits.
