Board members press to remove wording that could limit board oversight of library appeals

Participants agreed to remove or reword the sentence so the ARs are consistent with both district policy and legal precedent while preserving the board’s oversight function. Staff were asked to produce revised text that makes the process clear and to ensure AR language mirrors the policy’s selection criteria and procedural expectations.
