Paige McDaniel, executive director of the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce, told the city commission the Chamber has adopted a new three-year strategic plan built around membership growth, programming, communications and organizational identity. "The plan is built around membership, programming, communication, and identity," McDaniel said, and staff will review progress monthly and update the plan annually.
McDaniel highlighted recent events and recruitment numbers as evidence of momentum: the Chamber’s annual dinner drew 206 attendees from 50 businesses with 10 sponsors, the first Butler County Women in Business Conference convened nine workshop leaders and 62 attendees, and the Chamber has added 12 new members this year. She encouraged participation in upcoming member events such as the monthly Chamber Chat and a June 4 lunch-and-learn. The presentation was informational; no commission action was required.
