Commissioners confirmed participation in Gold Head State Park's upcoming "Yesteryear" festival and outlined logistics for staffing a table and transporting materials from storage. The chair said volunteers' paperwork is complete and there is no fee for the city; she said she will bring a trifold, banners, an easel and brochures from inventory and requested a case of water and small cooler for the booth.
Members discussed who would staff the table and agreed Kim and the chair will attend; they also talked about printing needs and whether to use existing Chautauqua artwork to reduce design costs. The festival participation is intended to raise awareness of the commission’s programs and recruit volunteers and visitors for upcoming events such as Chautauqua and the tour of homes.
