The Farmington Planning Board handled a slate of routine administrative items at its July 20 meeting, including a letter-of-credit release and multiple determinations of application completeness.
Staff told the board PB0401-20 (Auburn Meadows) is ready for the town board’s release of the letter of credit after the planning board submits its recommendation in writing. The board also considered PB2026-0701 (special use permit for a furniture-refinishing major home occupation) and determined the application complete following staff confirmation; Regina moved and Doug seconded the motion. Several other preliminary subdivision and site-plan items (including PB2026-0703 and 0704) were found complete for scheduling, while one special-use permit (PP2026-0705 for a tree service) lacked a site plan and was declared incomplete and returned to the applicant for more information.
Board members repeatedly asked staff to ensure environmental-form checkboxes include explanatory statements when “yes” is checked and to confirm any on-site clearing is documented before final site-plan approvals. The clerk performed roll-call votes on the routine motions indicated in the record.
