MRB Group: environmental materials and agency responses provided; review ongoing

MRB Group, the board’s engineering reviewer, told the board that the applicant had provided the environmental documents and the responses from involved agencies (the Army Corps, DEC, SHPO and others) necessary for the board to evaluate Parts 2 and 3 of the environmental record.
The MRB Group representative said those materials allow the board to proceed with completing the record but noted their staff would continue to review and could submit further comments on specific items. The board accepted that the written responses were on the record and asked staff to finalize the assessment forms for the next meeting.
That technical assessment was central to the board’s decision to adjourn the hearing rather than close it: the board needs the finalized Part 2 and Part 3 documentation and any outstanding consultant comments to make a fully informed determination.
