Norriton Dog Park opens with over 100 members; parks staff detail spring events

Parks & Recreation staff reported several spring initiatives and events. Jonathan Dzedzy said the Norriton Dog Park opened April 1 and has over 100 registered members. An Egg Hunt on April 4 drew approximately 350 children, and Little League Opening Day on April 11 included naming the minor league field in memory of Ed Lincul and installing a new scoreboard purchased by the Little League.
Parks staff also announced a streambank cleanup at Padden and Centennial Parks and scheduled Senior Games at Jeffersonville Golf Club beginning May 4. Commissioners praised the Parks & Recreation Department for recent work on events and the Dog Park opening.
