Township awards road paving and pedestrian improvement contracts; waives 30-day review

At its June 9 meeting, the West Norriton Board awarded the 2026 Road Paving Project to low bidder Glasgow, Inc. for $260,749.45. Mr. Miller confirmed the cost will be covered by liquid fuels funds. The Board also approved a waiver of the 30-day public review period under the Responsible Contractor Ordinance for that project after staff reported they had vetted the low bidder.
In a separate motion the Board awarded the Blvd. of the Generals Pedestrian Improvement contract to Albert G. Cipolloni Jr. & Sons, Inc. in the amount of $80,518.29, including Alternate No. 1. Both awards were approved unanimously as recorded in the meeting minutes.
